Jetblue Cancellation Fees
There are no change or cancellation fees on most of our fares, except Blue Basic.
Change/cancel fees are waived on Blue Basic bookings ticketed from Aug 25-Oct 31 2021 and prior to Jun 7 2021.
Blue Basic fares ticketed from Jun 8-Aug 24 2021 and after Nov 1 2021 are subject to a change/cancel fee of $100 per person for travel wholly within the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico or Central America, or $200 per person for all other routes. Fare difference and fare rules on date of change apply.
Keep in mind, there is a $25 nonrefundable fee per person on the reservation for changing or canceling over the phone (in addition to any fees applicable to the fare). You can save this $25 per-person fee by self-serving online at +1 (888) 707-1535 .
Cancellations within 24 hours
If your travel was booked seven days or more prior to the scheduled departure date, you have 24 hours from the time the booking was made to cancel your reservation without being charged a cancellation fee. The entire booking must be cancelled to qualify (not applicable for JetBlue Vacations reservations). Bookings that have been changed are not eligible for a refund to the original form of payment and may be subject to a per-person cancellation fee depending on the fare booked, regardless of being within 24 hours of the original booking.

For JetBlue nonrefundable fares, changes or cancellations may be made prior to scheduled departure for a per-person change/cancel fee plus any applicable difference in airfare. Any remaining balance will be issued as a JetBlue travel credit and may be applied toward future travel on JetBlue. Credit expiration dates are available by accessing your Travel Bank account.
Refundable fares
For JetBlue refundable fares, changes and cancellations for a full refund are permitted prior to scheduled departure. Changes are subject to availability and any applicable difference in airfare.
If a refundable flight segment is not changed or cancelled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the segment will be issued as a JetBlue travel credit and may be applied toward future travel on JetBlue. Credit expiration dates are available by accessing your Travel Bank account.
Blue Basic fares
Bookings made through Jun 7 2021 and from Aug 25-Oct 31 2021:
No fees to change or cancel, but difference in fare applies for flight changes.
For voluntary changes made from 6/8/21-8/24/21 and on or after 11/1/21, current fare rules apply based on the new ticketing date, including a fee for future changes or cancellations.
Bookings made or changed from Jun 8-Aug 24 2021 and on or after Nov 1 2021:
Routes in the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean, and Central America: $100 per person change/cancel fee
All other routes: $200 per person change/cancel fee
For flight changes, the fare difference and fare rules on date of change apply.
Same-day confirmed switches can be made for a $75 per person fee (no fee for Mosaic members) without paying a fare difference.
